Weekend Retreat and Love day :)

This last Saturday was Tyler's summer sales group's weekend retreat. It started out at the Provo Beach Resort where we had a mini competition of arcade games, bowling, golfing etc. Whoever won got a gift card to RIO! :) I love that Tyler is such a lucky AND talented guy. He won the bowling with a score of 217 i believe (and almost the basketball too) so we took home the wonderful gift card to Rio! THEN we all   got to ride on the Flowrider! It was a lot of fun! I just did the boogie board along with Erica and we just watched all the boys attempt to surf on the flowrider, and a few succeeded. BUT it was fun to watch the wipe outs! :) Anyway after the flowrider, dinner and the boys attending like a two hour regional meeting, we headed up to a cabin in Heber area. Basically the majority of the time spent in the cabin was a poker tournament. Two groups of 8-9 players, top 4 of the group went on to the final tournament. It was actually fun to watch ( I know that is kinda weird but I have never played so I was intrigued by it) So the final tournament came down to.......Tyler and one of the guys on his team. The game was NEVER ending because one would get a good hand, no one was betting enough and they just kept exchanging chips. THEN after a grueling 30 minutes or so of this, finally the other guy (sorry I don't remember his name) looked at his hand and said I am putting all my chips in, which he was down quite a bit. So Tyler took his bet, to my relief and happiness Tyler had two aces in his hand and the other guy had a QUEEN and an ace. IT was close but we won another gift card for that :) Well worth it in my eyes!

The winner is....TYLA! :)

SO I had to just add a little bit more about the Love Day celebration. I must say I have the most perfect Valentine, for me! I know EVERY girl says they have the best guy because he did this and this....blah blah. Well I think every girl is different and all I know is I am glad I found my perfect Valentine. He made me a dinner which turned into a surprise candlelight rose petals everywhere and then almost the best part about it, HE TOOK ME TO THE JUSTIN BIEBER MOVIE! :) It was actually a really good movie and I enjoyed all the single girls (and guys) screaming and going gaga for Bieber! But I most enjoyed the fact that he cares so much about making V-day such a fun, loved filled experience for me :)

The Bieber tickets were inside the box :) hehe

candles, flowers and sparkling cider.

Long stemmed rose :) Him watching Bachelor with me is a great idea!

I made this heart shaped s'mores delight :)

A Warm Superbowl Weekend :)

Weekly update! It was a pretty normal week for us (Monday=Bachelor, Tuesday=Biggest Loser, Wednesday= American Idol, Thursday=American Idol & Jersey Shore) school, work, gym and food :)

HIGHLIGHTS: I took my first Chem exam (BAM I did good!) and Ty's company had a company party to introduce their new company name "Vivint". They had a raffle...and since Tyler has pretty good luck we decided we should go and just see if he possibly would win anything (like the 10k grand prize!!!) WELL sadly his luck didn't pay off this time around, but maybe next time when there is a 20k prize?? I can only hope!

So we spent the weekend in St. George and it was very nice :) I just love the NO snow zone. It is great! We did quite a bit of wedding planning with my mom (Ty got bored but he is SUCH a trooper! He even went to a bridal show with us...NOW that is what we call a great fiance!)
He loves life.
This was at the wedding venue, we entertained ourselves while my mama talked
haha I thought this was amusing...he looks like he is really pondering this picture :)
We also found out this weekend that fast sunday and superbowl sunday are not a good combination (especially when church was at 1!) Since SuperBowl Sunday tradition calls for snacks galore we had to create the perfect mix of sweet n salty...corn salsa, s'mores, shrimp + the idea of a red velvet cream cheese cake (we never got to it we were so full). All in all, it was a fun trip! Gotta love the weekends in STG.

Birthday dinner

It was Lexi's 22nd birthday so Matt invited us to go up to her favorite restaurant in Salt Lake called Sapa, it is a sushi bar and asian grill. I was actually really intrigued by this place....amazing lights and decor. It was very modern and the food was delicious so it got 4 stars in my book. So Matt was wanting to surprise Lexi with an ice cream cake so we had to bring it in our car and then ask our waiter to bring it out once dinner was over. BUT of course right as dinner is over, Lexi has to run to the restroom....and the waiter started heading out but luckily we stopped him (he didn't even have the candles on it that I had brought!) But he brought the cake out and since it was an ice cream cake we realized we couldn't take it back to Provo with us, so we split it into fourths and chowed down :) Great way to end dinner if you ask me.

perfect timing :)

So cute

mmmmm delicious
Another great part of the night was when Matt gave Lexi her present which was: a ONE way ticket to NYC :) hahahaha I giggled...but her mom gave her the other way back so no worries she won't be stuck in NYC to fend for herself. We ended this night of celebration with a little ComedySportz. They are pure geniuses EVERY time. I seriously am fascinated at how witty and hilarious the comedians are because it is almost always a new group of people and continues to make me laugh each time. Well if you haven't figured it out yet, I am a weekly or biweekly blogger...I guess I just don't find school to be of any interest for the blogging world. SO Until next week! :)
