We LOVE the lake PART B!

Part B:
So the weekend following our Lake Powell trip we had the wonderful opportunity to go to the lake AGAIN with Ty's siblings and a nice ward friend. (John bought a boating trip from him at the ward auction and this was the weekend it was being redeemed) We went to Utah lake and it was the one of the last beautiful weekends in Utah (before the yuck rain and cold came)! We all started out wakeboarding and eventually decided to surf. WELL we figured out we should have just surfed the whole time! It was SO much more fun and better behind his boat along with his surf boards. His boat was an incredible surf boat and I actually got the hang of it! We all had a lot of fun! {WE REALLY WISH John would just get a boat} Here is photo proof of the event :) {*none of our surf pics/videos will be on this because Ty took pics/videos on his waterproof camera....I will maybe add those all later}

After this fun lake trip Ty and I went to Park City to meet up with Jeff and his girlfriend Victoria. We went to the outlets first {love that place...need to go more :) } then to this GREAT restaurant called Red Rock, then we went and got some ice cream {Ty was jonesin for some ColdStone} then ending our fun night with the movie Moneyball. It was a wonderful weekend. Made me really appreciate living in beautiful Utah and having so many options for a fun weekend [in the summer/fall season].
HelloGOODbye!
Alright so there is a story to this....Ty always likes to say "uh HelloGOODbye" in one word in an asian accent. So when we saw this at Cold Stone Ty and I laughed really hard :) {look at the sign behind him}
:) I love him so much. Always brings me giggles

We LOVE the lake :) (part A)

PART A:
Two weeks after we returned from Tennessee we had the opportunity to go to Lake Powell with Ty's summer sales group. Ty and I had to take tests and celebrate Sue's bday so we left that night afterwards (another late night drive for us....crazy us) We got to the marina at like 3:30am so our only choice was to sleep in the car (or Ty thought we could sleep on the ground....I disagreed) NOT the best night sleeps I have ever have but we were so hyped for Powell anyway it didn't matter. (I especially loved having a random marina police officer shine a flashlight into our car right at my eyeball to wake me up at like 5am!) We were supposed to meet at Antelope Point Marina at 8:30am and you bet we were there before then due to our lack of desire to sleep balled up in my car. BUT then we realized there is a  time difference between Arizona and Utah...we didn't know if the people picking us up were coming at 8:30am Utah or Arizona time. After a little chaos we finally got to the boats where everyone was. Immediately we got on a boat and went cliff jumping, wakeboarding, surfing and cruising around. Tyler, Colton and Cameron went off on a hike later and found a big lizard they decided to make their pet for the weekend. They made a leash for it and everything :) (poor little guy)

Later that night it rained REALLY hard. I love rain at Lake Powell :)

A WATERFALL down the canyon wall we were in

The next day we went out on the boat again. More surfing, wakeboarding and such.

they are weird:)

Ty about to surf

This was my first time surfing EVER

If you can tell by my face I was not sure what to do

On the other hand he knows what to do
Tyler and some of the guys from his sales team decided to do a mustache contest to see who could grow the gnarliest mustache. IT was pretty awful, amusing to see so many with staches but not attractive. haha
Stache contest

creepy Colton. Happy Ty :) haha
THE nasty stache :)

ONE thing they had on this trip I contemplated doing (BUT changed my mind after watching a few others do it) was the BLOB! :) If you have ever seen the movie Heavy Weights....it is like that blob. Here is a video of someone getting thrown off this crazy device. (They had the most graceful flight of any I saw this trip...most were pretty painful and brutal looking-welts and bruises formed later on the victims=ME NOT doing it)

This was our first trip to Lake Powell together and I had lots of fun :) Can't wait for LP with my fam next summer! Ty WILL be there!

Far too much to update!

WELL my computer had a little malfunction and therefore I could not blog properly...haha :)
BUT now thanks to the apple geniuses my lovely little MacBook is fixed and I can blog again! YAY! We have been back in Provo for about a month and a half....but we have been on the go with only a few weekends to play in Provo. We had Labor Day with the Richards with a delicious bbq then a week later we helped John and Sue host a single college ward that John is the high counselor over. It was A LOT of food and even more people.

The never ending line of freshmen ready to eat!

The host of the event (standard male Richard's pose-thumbs up! haha)

look everyone he can multitask! :)

More on Tyler and the flies. He was honestly chasing the flies and probably killed like 15 (that is what happens when you leave the door open with yummy food inside)....it was never ending and HILARIOUS! Being back in Utah has been A LOT of fun. I have a lot more to blog about but I will space out the picture overload. I will leave you with a pic of my wonderful husband and brother-in-law "shopping" with us/mocking us. Gotta love 'em.

Last days in Knoxville

As our days are coming to an end in Knoxville.... I have realized I need pictures of things we do and have done. So I took a few pics of Jeff, Tyler and I playing tennis. Then I took pictures at the lake! (thank heavens for the iPhone)

This is a bittersweet goodbye as we leave Knoxville.
I am SOO excited to go back to Utah but I will miss being in this new territory.
